About Self Help Nirvana

Mark, Founder of Self Help NirvanaHi, and welcome to Self Help Nirvana!

My name is Mark, and I’m the founder of this community.

The goal behind Self Help Nirvana is to help people become the best version of themselves they can, whether that’s by overcoming physical or mental challenges, improving the skills they need to do their job or live their lives, be happier, be more productive, communicate better, or whatever it takes.

You’ll currently find articles and guides / reports on the following subjects:

  • Blog, which includes commentaries on items in the news, as well as personal rants and thoughts. I’ve also started using this category as a sort of personal journal. (Note that some of these articles may be shorter than the others, and some I write largely for introspective and therapeutic reasons.) Even though these articles are more personal in nature, my intention is that there will still be something you can learn from them.
  • Meditation, which includes articles about mindfulness and yoga.
  • Mental Health, which includes articles about ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, postpartum depression, PTSD, separation anxiety, stress, suicide, and more.
  • Nutrition & Health, which includes articles about cholesterol, keto, massage, smoothies, and more.
  • Parenting, which includes articles about getting pregnant, pregnancy, and more.
  • Relationships, which includes articles about break-ups, how to keep that initial spark alive, online dating, and more.
  • Sharper Brain, which includes articles about communication skills, creativity, distractions, how to have the best year of your life, productivity, procrastination, sleep, writing, and more.

Some of the above articles contain recipes, which are also listed separately to make them easier for you to find.

Most of the articles on this site are completely free for you to access and read, while some, the majority of the 161 Premium ones (e.g. courses, guides, and more detailed reports), are restricted to members only (although you can read a portion of those articles as a taster).

Also, don’t forget there is a Self Help Nirvana Facebook group, which anybody can join – you don’t need to be a member of SelfHelpNirvana.com.

So, if you don’t see what you’re looking for on this site, please do get in touch with suggestions, as I’m always looking to add articles and guides that people want and need.

And lastly, please note that I am British, so if you spot what look like spelling errors on this site, they’re probably not – I’m predominantly using British English (although some American English may slip in from time to time since I’ve lived in the US for over 16 years and I have become partially native).

Best wishes,

P.S.You can also find my writing on Medium.com, including a couple of publications I run there – 17 Onji and Mark’s Meandering Musings.
